I have had the privilege of living in Clare since 2009 and serving as Senior Pastor of BCC since 2014. My wife, Elisa, and I have been married since 2000 and have four boys: Kaleb, Jaden, Neiko and Owen. I like to read (a lot), drink coffee the consistency of used motor oil (a lot of it), eat ice cream (more than I should), baseball, explore new places with my family and play a round of golf here and there. I love my wife, my kids, my church and more than anything, my God.

Previously, we served with New Tribes Mission and with two other churches in the Michigan area.

Some of the books and people who have influenced me the most include: J.I. Packer, John Piper, John Owen, Jerry Bridges, Hudson Taylor, George Dagley, Dick Cross, William Carey, Jim Elliot, Alistair Begg, Gary Coombs, Wayne Grudem, and Charles Spurgeon.

I grew up in Western Pennsylvania before attending Huntington University. I graduated Huntington in 1995 with a degree in Educational Ministries. I started at BCC in November of 1995 as Youth Pastor. In September of 2015 I became the Children's Pastor. I married my wife, Jessica, in July of 2008. In May of 2010 we had our first child, Sarah. In May of 2013 we had our second child, Ben. In December of 2014 we were blessed with our 3rd child, Joseph. God called me to Ministry when I was 13. I have a passion for working with youth and teaching them about God. I love watching kids and teens begin a relationship with God and hunger for His direction in their life.

I joined our staff as our Youth Ministry Intern in the Fall of 2017.  I grew up attending BCC, but in 2014, I moved away while spenting some time working in camping ministry.  Currently I'm attending Eastern University working towards obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Youth Ministry Leadership.  During my free time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, playing basketball, and watching football with my dog, Bo.

I love Jesus, my family, and Music!!  I have served as the Worship Pastor at BCC since November 2018.  My amazing wife Traci and I have been married since 2001. She is the Director of OFH Childcare in Clare (A Christian Pre-School and Licensed Daycare). We have four children Todd, Evan, Zoe and Lyric. I don’t have enough space here to say how proud we are and humbled that God would have us be responsible for these amazing Children.

Traci and I started serving together at EMICC in Mt. Pleasant where we met and shortly after married.  Then we transitioned back to Clare Assembly of God, where I grew up and  found my calling as a worship leader, at the age of 16.

As a family, we enjoy camping, sports ,and visiting new places.

Michelle and I both grew up in Clare, she a native, myself an import. We have been married for forty years. The Lord has chosen to bless us with two children, their spouses, and eight grandchildren. Both Jeremy and Jessica’s families and seven of our grandchildren attend BCC. Jessica’s husband Craig serves as sound guy and drummer for the praise team. 

For thirty-six years I acted as Controls Engineering Supervisor for GM. Michelle taught fourth grade for twenty-one of those years. Upon our retirement in 2016 we returned to Clare, purchased the centennial family farm, and spent the next three years renovating. Once that was complete I soon discovered retirement was not as attractive as society makes it out to be. 

I have always been active in the churches we attend. I have served as Treasurer, Elder, and other capacities over the years. BCC has grown to the point that someone to handle the administrative, and day to day activities of the church was needed, so that the ministerial staff could devote more time to just that, the ministry of the church. It is a new undefined position which makes it interesting and challenging. I look forward to how ever many years God grants me as your Administrative Pastor.
